Our goal is to encourage Australians and overseas visitors to get to as many of our marvellous festivals as possible with a particular emphasis on encouraging inter-state trips. We offer an up to date listing and news service. We cover some 300 local festivals with that number growing each week.

About Our Team
Our sources are drawn from festival organisers, hard copy, publicity agencies, media reports, official press releases and the great sea of cyberspace. In this respect our core team is supplemented by dozens of news and PR professional contributors to ensure that we are across the latest news and developments related to the festival scene.
Publisher - Editor - Designer - Journalist - Photographer Kevin Parker
Kevin Parker (BA Politics, Adv Management Cert, Conflict Resolution Cert) is a 
registered journalist and the principal of a successful web design business and business platform hosting service, Sane Earth Web.
Kevin (left, photo credit & graphic interpretation Maddi' Parker) also publishes and designs a number of web sites focused on Festivals, Literary Festivals and book awards in Australia and the UK. ( Festival Australia, Literary Festivals UK , Literary Festivals Australia etc).
Whilst he has been involved in the internet since the late 80's, Kevin's professional background includes time as a National Campaign Director, university research group coordinator, as an organiser, lobbyist, and then consultant. Kevin has carried out numerous media interviews on behalf of organisations that he represented.
He was appointed as an Honorary Fellow at the University of Wollongong. Kevin has also enjoyed success as an award winning private sector business owner in partnership with his wife Maddi'.
Alledgedly he is an entertaining public speaker.
Social Media & Admin Director, Photo- Journalist - Maddi' Parker
Maddi' Parker (BA, BPharm, JP) is our social media networker and looks after the admin side of Festival Australia. She is a registered photo journalist.
Maddi' (left, photo credit Kevin Parker) has a degree in pharmacy and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Newcastle, majoring in Sociology and Anthropology with a distinction average.
She is a Justice of the Peace appointed by the Attorney General's Department of NSW. In 2005 she was the recipient of the NSW Pharamacy of the Year Award. She is a practising bush flower essence healer and accredited teacher.
Maddi' has travelled extensively in the UK, Europe, USA, Central America, West Africa and Central Asia. An adventurer at heart, she also explored West Africa where she helped out professionally in a number of schools and hospitals living with local residents throughout.
Maddi' lives in the Southern Highlands with her Adonis like husband, four young children and a flock of chooks. She enjoys making bread, preserves and cheese in her noisy and occasionally tidy kitchen.
