Ardlethan Art and Music Festival
What? The annual Ardlethan Art and Music Festival is held each year around the end of October, beginning of November. This sleepy little town of around 300 people comes alive with an influx of visitors attending the Festival events and experiencing the festive atmosphere.
Ardlethan is situated 1 hour from both Wagga and Griffith. It is a small community facing the usual rural issues, no water and local tin mines closing down. To help the town along Ardlethan
community Progress section 355 of Coolamon Shire Council, organises the Art and Music Festival. Excellent initiative.

Where? Ardlethan NSW, 2665
When? Two weekends in 2011 – Saturday October 8 and weekend of October 22 & 23
Who? The 2011 feature band at the ball on Saturday October 8 is the Big ol' Bus Band.
The Band lead pianist/songwriter/singer Hugh Murray has done his quota of back roads wearing through boots between Broken Hill, where he started School, and Tennessee where he has lived and where he also first started 'The Big Ol' Bus Band'. His songwriting credits include Keith Urban, INXS and Jazz and Soul Grammy Award winning singer Lou Rawls.
Pocket rocket swing/burlesque star Kelly Ann Doll choreographs and dances with her choice of partner for each performance - when not performing internationally. She is the star of Australian Burlesque and flying through the air with the 'Big Ol' Bus Band' you can see why. The Musicians and singers are a collection of all highly sort after players who regularly tour with the worlds best
performers or are artists who record and perform internationally in their own right.
The weekend of October 22 & 23 will include a line up of free live music, including acclaimed soloist Mark Corey. A highly sought after musician from the east coast, his wide genre selections will be sure to please any age group.Mark will be supported by several up and coming local singers throughout the afternoon, including Georgia Beard, Claire Crighton, Amanda Long, Olivia McDermott, donations toward Ardlethan Progress Association appreciated.
