Barham Rock & Roll Festival and Rock By The River

Barham shakes, rattles and rolls twice a year with their famous Rock & Roll festivals.

The February festival as welcomes the Chevrolets from Queensland and the Fender Benders from Melbourne. The dates are Thursday 2nd of February - Sunday 5th of February 2012. The ever so popular DJ Flash will also be there to spin discs as well as entertainment from local bands Cloud Nine, Big Rockin Daddy, Allen Bowers, Anthony Tenace and The Hoffmans. This festival has a new structure with Thursday as the Meet and Greet night, Friday Fashion Show by Gorgeous Gear, Saturday Gala Night with a Gangster and Molls theme and Sunday with the Play In the Park $10 entry fee.

The 2012 Rock By The River Festival will be held from Thursday 23rd - Sunday 26th August 2012. There will be a great line up of entertainment including Adelaide's Jump n Jive who were a hit at the 2011 February Rock and Roll Festival and the Itchy Fingers from Melbourne.

Rock By The River has entertainment is at two cluBarham venues, the Barham Services Club and the Barham Golf and Country Club. A full festival pass is only $25 or a daily pass is $10.

Dance lessons will be held on Friday afternoon from 2.30pm and Saturday morning from 10am, tickets $15 per session.

This festival also has two fantastic Rock and Roll clothing retailers Gorgous Gear in the Services Club and Sweethearts Danceworld at the Golf Club. Come along to see rock and roll bands in all their glory plus the Play In The Park Breakfast $10 entry, Show And Shine and Gala Night.
