CORINBANK 2012 HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO WET WEATHER. THE EVENT IS TO BE RESCHEDULED FOR LATER IN 2012 AT THIS STAGE
Canberra’s Corinbank is now in its fifth year and was set to play host to Josh Pyke, The Little Stevies, The Barons of Tang, The Crooked Fiddle Band and other acts this weekend. However the show has now been postponed with the festival site receiving over 200mm of rain in the past five days, half of which has fallen in the past 24 hours. As the promoters have announced with resignation “Unfortunately, this time, nature has won”.
Corinbank is an annual 3-day, all-ages celebration of art, music, culture and people.
Corinbank feature a fine line-up of music over the three days of the festival, as well as hosting a huge range of art displays, performance art, and activities ranging from the adrenaline-pumping to the artistic, from the exciting to the sublime.
Where? Held at the Corin Forest Mountain Resort, Corinbank is 40 minutes from Canberra’s doorstep but feels a million miles away. This intimate festival aims to leave no trace on its sublime surroundings or on our planet.
