Cygnet Folk Festival

(Damn Council Health and Safety Rules- I assume this is the problem) I haven't returned to the Festival after my return in 2010. It's got too big from what I remember in the 'olden days'. In 2010, I couldn't get into venues to see the performers I wanted
to- This year my friend (who has said she's never going again) couldn't even get into see her daughter perform.I had tried in 2010 to get into the venue, three performances before the one I wanted to see(and waited), but no go. Everyone in the hall just stayed
put- and you can't blame them. I go to the National and other festivals, without this problem, because they have larger venues (you can't fix this in a small town like Cygnet), but maybe you could hire Marquees (costly I know from running a conference myself)and
spread the music acts around. I know that having 2 people never going again is 'small beer', but how many others are doing this and telling friends it's not worth it? You'll still get your crowds, but what a shame.........
