What? Floriade is the biggest flower festival in Australia, a spectacular celebration of spring, set in Canberra's Commonwealth Park.
For five nights there is also a Night Festival featuring leading music acts.

Always try to time my necessary visits to Canberra to coincide with Floriade. Love the flower beds which smell (hyacinths I guess).

9 September 2011 This is a complaint of my disgust of the changes made to the floral demonstrations. At this point in time with the GFC who has the money to spend $165 on floral demos/workshops (with supper). I would have loved to have gone to free demos
on table and xmas decorations like I went to all the other ones last year for free, thanks very much. I hope you have no takers and it fails. NOT HAPPY

I always love going to Floriade, it's a beautiful place to go and enjoy a day of Spring. I must admit it's usually pretty windy when we go but that definitely doesn't deter me. One of my favourite things about Floriade is the it's not just about the flowers,
they have a different theme every year. I loved the Gnome theme a few years back, they had Gnomes dressed as all your different bands. ACDC, Beatles and MJ as well. I can't wait to go this year!!!! Keep up the great work.

Love the dislay - beautiful, awesome,fantastic, really love the display, the array of colours, themes! Congratulations and thank you for bringing joy to so many people with this beautiful park display! I will definetely come back again!
