Harrietville Bluegrass & Traditional Country Music Convention Festival
What? This is the premier event on the Australian bluegrass calendar. At Harrietville in November, you will find most of the acoustic musicians in Australia concentrated, picking and singing and listening to the finest bluegrass and old-timey music to be found in Australia
The festival is hosted by BTCMSA and Pickin' At The Piggery - the Victorian Branch of the Bluegrass & Traditional Country Music Society of Australia. (BTCMSA)

Where? The venue is the Harrietville Community Hall, opposite the General Store, 220 Great Alpine Road, in the picturesque town of Harrietville, Victoria, on the Great Alpine Highway. Harrietville is about 15 minutes from Bright.

Overseas Guests: Blue & Lonesome are a traditional Bluegrass band consisting of Ed Neff, Mike Wilhoyte. Larry Cohea, Paul Shelasky and Jeff King. Blue & Lonesome has captured the traditional sound of bluegrass music, as it was originally played, incorporating the experience and talents of five of the top traditional players in the business today.
