I attended the perth writers`s festival on Sunday 26th Feb. I attended two discussion groups. 1. Complacency in politics. 2. The Iron Women. I enjoyed them both, as I have never been to any before. However, I was disappointed in Susan MItchell from the
Iron Women group, as she spent too much of her precious time `slating` Tony Abbott and not enough sharing her considerable knowledge of the topic with us. I felt the moderator should have been stronger in not allowing her to continue her attack. As a suggestion,
next time you could perhaps ask one of Abbott`s daughters to be a speaker on feminism from a young womnan`s perspective. Keep up the good work.
