Queensland Poetry Festival

What? The Queensland Poetry Festival (QPF) is the major literary event for poets and poetry in Queensland. The program features Queensland, interstate, and international poets in readings, book launches, discussions, slams and open readings. Interested poets should send CV/biography around November each year.

The Arts Queensland Val Vallis Award for Unpublished Poetry and The Arts Queensland Thomas Shapcott Poetry Prize are also a feature of QPF, with the winners announced on opening night.
