Soundwave 2012
Soundwave is an annual music festival held in major cities around Australia. The festival originated in Perth, Western Australia and began traveling to the other Australian capital cities in 2007. It features a number of international and Australian music acts, from various genres including rock, metal and punk acts.
In the past the festival has been headlined by Good Charlotte, Deftones, The Offspring, Nine Inch Nails and Faith No More. Including co-headliners +44, Incubus, Alice in Chains, Bloodhound Gang, Lamb of God, Jane's Addiction and Jimmy Eat World.
Who in 2012? System of the Down, Slipknot, Machine Head, Devin Townsend Project, The Used, Dashboard Confessional, Sisters of Mercy, Limp Bizki, Marilyn Manson, Steel Panther.
Where & When? Brisbane RNA Showgrounds on Saturday February 25, Sydney Showgrounds on Sunday February 26, Melbourne Showgrounds Friday March 2, Bonython Park in Adelaide on Saturday March 3 and Claremont Showgrounds, Perth, on Monday March 5.
