Wintersun Nostalgia Festival

What? Wintersun Nostalgia Festival delivers nearly two weeks of day and nigwintersun_3ht activities across a variety of events such as street parades, concerts, dancing and dance workshops, classic and vintage car parades, performances and entertainment reflective of the 40's 50's and 60's.

When? June 1 - June 11, 2012 | May 31 - June 12, 2013

Where? Coffs Harbour in 2012 (Port Macquarie, 2011) 2013 TBA

Tickets? Many of the events on the program are free, particularly those outdoors. Ticketed events
range from $6 to $60 and can be purchased from the event venue.

2011 Event Highlights?
wintersun· 5 June: The Pretty Things Peep Show - a live show with the best in sideshow, burlesque
and vaudeville all the way from New York
· 9,10,11 June: The 2011 Ultimate Elvis® Tribute Artist™ Contest - Australian heats to
compete in Memphis (USA) during Elvis Week 2011 for the grand title and $20,000 in
cash prizes
· 9 and 11 June: Truly, Madly, Stylish - your handy class to fifties fashion perfection, Ms
Candice DeVille, Australia's premiere vintage stylist and model, helps you navigate the
pitfalls and passion of fifties fashion.
· 11 June: Cake Bake Competition - get baking andpresent your most creative cake in your
best vintage dress for this popular cake competition.
· 12 June: The Lindy Charm School for Girls - perfect your pin curls, refine your rolls and
practice your pout with a vintage makeover just for the ladies.
· 11 and 12 June: The Wintersun Vintage Fashion Parade - see a bevy of beauties strutting
their vintage clothes, lingerie and swimming costumes.
· Car Events - with more than 1500

Will there be more cars than last year at Port Macquarie..Is this a cake bake only event now. Have they got any better at organising the stalls.

Do your self a favour keep driving onto Coolangatta the turnout was dismal last year at Port Macquarie. Lucky we have an alternate at Coolangatta.

first timers at a winter sun festival, had a fantastic time at Port MacQuarie. Some old timers who have been going for years might not have enjoyed it, but us first timers did. Give it a go in 2012 and let go of the old ways and enjoy your self.

I agree with Corvette if you have a classic car do youself a favour and register a spot at Coolangatta before they close off their entries. They are celebrating 25 years of cars and rock n roll. Several of us travelled up to Cooly last year after being
dissapointed with the car turn out at Port
