Wooden Boat Festival has established a reputation as one of the world's best maritime events. Held on Hobart's vibrant waterfront, the four-day festival brings together the biggest collection of wooden boats in the southern hemisphere.
The scene is alive with maritime activity including an enormous collection of wooden boats of all descriptions; a big display of model boats; many permanent and temporary food outlets with an emphasis on fresh Tasmanian seafood; nautical skill demonstrations; live music and theatre; boat handling demonstrations, trade exhibitions, community groups and much more.
